More than a platform - this is a community

The Wee Hive began with my own journey into motherhood. When my son Asher was born, I discovered how powerful classes and local groups could be — not just for my child's development, but for my own sense of connection and belonging. But I also discovered how hard it was to find out what was available. That's where the idea for The Wee Hive was born.

Right now, parents across the North East often rely on word of mouth or endless searching online to discover what's happening nearby. That means many miss out on amazing classes, supportive communities or local businesses that could make their family life easier and more joyful. At the same time, incredible local businesses often struggle to reach the parents who would love what they offer.

The Wee Hive exists to change that. We're building a trusted, inspiring hub where families can discover everything in one place: classes, events and family-friendly businesses. A guide that makes it easy to explore, try new things and feel part of something bigger.

We believe this will benefit the whole community. Parents can feel confident, supported and inspired. Children can learn, grow and make memories. Local businesses can thrive by connecting with the families who need them. And together, we can celebrate the very best of family life in the North East.
