About this event
Step through the door and kick off the October holidays with a real-life Halloween adventure! Hallows Haunted Eve is a family-friendly, spooky-not-scary immersive Halloween experience at Aberdeen Arts Centre on 17th and 18th October.
This is more than a theatre show. Families are guided through a series of Halloween-themed rooms, where they'll meet live characters, explore The Hallows, take part in interactive challenges and help save the residents' Monster Bash.
The children aren't just watching the story unfold, they're part of it. They'll be given a mission to complete, meet the strange and wonderful residents of The Hallows and help stop Mr Funny Bones from ruining Halloween. Children are encouraged to come dressed up as monsters and go undercover to help save the day!
The Halloween fun doesn't end when the story does. Families will finish with a Monster Bash featuring the characters, Halloween treats and a party bag for the children to take home, all included with your ticket.
The experience lasts around 45 to 60 minutes and is designed for children aged 3 to 11 and their families. The 4.30pm performances are slightly spookier and recommended for ages 8+.
Dates: Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2026
Times: 10am, 11.30am, 1pm, 2.45pm and 4.30pm
