About this event
Little Seedlings workshop is about helping children discover how the season changes in autumn; why leaves turn green, yellow, orange, red, and purple as the seasons change, how trees and plants get ready for colder days, and why some evergreens keep their colour all year round.
Children will also learn about busy autumn wildlife, from squirrels gathering food to hedgehogs preparing for hibernation, along with simple ways to help their garden and local wildlife through the changing season. There’ll be interactive discussions, a fun autumn colours quiz, and a hands-on planting activity where each child will plant their own daffodil bulb to take home and enjoy next spring.
