What parents say

""A wonderful experience for little ones! We’ve been attending Sense-a-Story since our son was 6 months old (he’s now 1+). Each week brings a brand new, creative story that keeps things fresh and engaging. Our son loves listening to the stories, exploring the sensory setups, and especially interacting with other babies his age. It’s been lovely to watch him grow in confidence and curiosity each week. As parents, we genuinely feel these classes are benefiting his development by encouraging early communication, social skills, and sensory exploration in a playful and supportive environment. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We highly recommend Sense-a-Story to any parent looking for a fun and enriching activity for their baby or toddler.""

Sense-a-Story

Tuesday @ 1:00pm
Aberdeen city
Preschool (3-5y) Babies (0-12m) Toddlers (1-3y)

Sense-a-Story transform traditional storytelling sessions into immersive multisensory experiences. We bring stories to life, encouraging children to see, hear, smell, touch and even taste the story! Our sessions focus on all 5 external senses and learning through play. A new story is chosen every week, which children can interact with through role-play, sound effects and musical instruments, craft activities, natural scents and materials, messy and loose parts play, healthy fruit and vegetables, and so much more! As well as promoting sensory development, our classes nurture children's love of stories, and aid in strengthening their overall development. Sense-a-Story is for children aged 6 months-5 years. Classes are designed to be inclusive. Along with the spoken word, stories are told using Makaton. Please note: We don’t teach Makaton, we use it in an effort to be more inclusive.
