About this event
Join 'Big Dog and the Home for Lost Hounds' creator Colin Fraser to draw fun cartoon characters, explore animal sketches and create your own original character.
A picture says a thousand words, and for Colin, one picture was the inspiration behind his first rhyming picture book about a stray dog searching for a new home.
Join Colin for this fun and interactive workshop where participants will doodle their way through the basics of cartooning, discovering how simple drawings, imagination and storytelling can bring characters and adventures to life. Along the way, Colin will share tips on creating memorable cartoon characters and show participants how to draw Big Dog from his book Big Dog and the Home for Lost Hounds.
