Reform Physio & Pilates – Pre & Postnatal Specialists in Aberdeen

At Reform Physio & Pilates, we support women through every stage of pregnancy and life after birth. Our team of specialist physiotherapists and Pilates instructors provide safe, effective care designed to help you move confidently, stay strong, and feel supported.

We offer:
• Pre- and postnatal physiotherapy for pelvic floor concerns, pain, recovery, and guidance through the physical changes of pregnancy.
• Reformer Pilates for pregnancy—tailored sessions to build strength, ease discomfort, and prepare your body for birth.
• Postnatal Reformer Pilates to support recovery, rebuild core strength, and help you return to movement safely (baby friendly classes)
• Friendly, expert support across our two Aberdeen locations.

"I’d always wanted to give reformer Pilates a try so was very happy to find a reformer post natal class. I had an unplanned c section in December and despite going to the gym pre and during pregnancy, I wanted to rebuild my core, strength and flexibility under guidance to avoid injury post section and in a gentle way. I went to my first class 9 weeks post partum and was made very welcome in class. Ashley talked me through the reformer and how it works and made sure I was safe using correct form throughout the class. My baby is now four months old and I love my weekly class. Love that we’re able to bring our babies if we need to and Ashley always happy to give them a cuddle if they need so we can keep going through class!"

Pregnancy Reformer Pilates at ReformPhysio & Pilates in Aberdeen is designed to support women through all stages of pregnancy. Led by experienced antenatal Pilates instructors and pelvic health physiotherapists, these sessions focus on safe, low-impact movement to help maintain strength, stability, and mobility during pregnancy. Using the Pilates Reformer, you’ll work with gentle spring resistance to strengthen your core and pelvic floor, improve posture, and enhance body awareness in a supportive environment. These antenatal classes promote controlled, mindful movement to help prepare your body for birth and support postnatal recovery. Each session is adapted to your trimester and individual needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and confidence at every stage.

Postnatal Reformer Pilates

Designed for mums from 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 10 weeks post Caesarean birth, this supportive Reformer Pilates class helps you safely rebuild strength, improve mobility, and reconnect with your body after birth. Led by Physiotherapists Anna Harris and Leanne Jamieson, alongside Stott Pilates instructor Ashley Garden, each session is carefully programmed with the postnatal body in mind. The Reformer offers guided, adaptable resistance to support core and pelvic floor recovery while building confidence in movement. Pre-crawling babies are very welcome at class at both locations. For safety, babies must be kept away from the Reformer at all times, in a pram/buggy, bouncy chair, or (for pre-rolling babies) on mats on the floor.
